Kavita Yadaw

Kavita is associated with Hamar Chinhari Welfare Society and works with communities in the field of education and young women’s empowerment.

Lalita Suryawanshi

​Lalita is a long term member of Chinhari. She has worked with Ambedkar University, Delhi and Traveller’s University and has emerged as an Indigenous researcher.

Pooja Yadaw

​Pooja has been associated with Chinhari for the past 10 years. During this time, She also worked with the Shiksharth organization in Sukma for about one and a half years, where she actively contributed to children’s education, awareness of women's bodies and community activities. 

Yogita Yadaw 

Yogita has been associated with Chinhari for the past 4 years. She is currently pursuing her graduation and really enjoys spending time with children at Srijan Shala.

Hema Dhruw

Hema is from the village Mardapoti of Dhamtari district. She has been a part of Chinhari since 2017 and helps at Mardapoti’s Srijan Shala. She loves drawing, reading books, and writing stories.

Keshbati Netam

​Keshbati has been associated with Chinhari for the past 10 years. She likes to learn new things. For the last 2 years, she has been working as a fellow at Chinhari, and teaching children at Srijan Shala.

Hema has been associated with Chinhari for the past 10 years. During this time, I am currently working as an intern at Chinhari. I enjoy learning about my community, water, forests, and land, staying connected with them, and doing research.

Renuka Yadaw

Renuka has been associated with Chinhari for the past 8 years, and for the last 2 years, she has been working as a fellow at Chinhari. Along with this, she enjoys reading, learning new things, and painting. Painting is her favorite way to express her thoughts and emotions.

Thanesh has been associated with Chinhari since 2018. She is currently pursuing her graduation and regularly participates in Chinhari’s youth workshops.

Aditi is an Early Childhood Educator and has been working with young children in Singapore for the past 22 years. Questions of inclusivity and diverse needs in education led her to Chinhari, and has been closely associated with their work since 2022.

Swarnima is a PhD candidate at Massey University, New Zealand. She is also a co-founder of Chinhari and interested in questions of care and commoning in development practice.

Anup Dhar
